Earlier this morning, I sat down and spend some time to work mostly the bottom part of this Vegetable Basket Sampler. I got the vegetable patch done but my cauliflower on the bottom row was off by 1 stitch so I had it redone. I really want to get the beeskep done today to see the colour effect of the thread I choosed. I’m pretty pleased with the result. The bees are still roaming outside the linen , maybe I’ll get them inside the sampler later today. Next, apart from the bees, I’ll be working on the border and filling up the background of the verse and this only requires 1 shade and I don’t have to peek at the chart…..sort of free-stitching.
