Stitcher’s Lottery

shot pincushionI really like the freebie from Midsummer Night Designs titled Sweet as a Flower ever since I saw it on Deborah’s blog. I thought this particular design suits my entry piece for Becky’s Stitcher’s Lottery.

I have a cut of very nice piece of 32ct Light Sand Lugana and started to pull out a few shades to suit the background fabric. In the end I settled down with 2 shades my own handyed threads and Solitude Green from OWS Linen thread.

I hope the lucky stitcher who wins the lottery will be pleased with my pincushion. I think there are about 18 of us…so all the best to each one of us…LOL.
Also my entry marks the end of my exchange commitments for the year 2007.
