My final Mailart

I’m saying goodbye to mailart exchanges. Firstly I don’t really enjoy working with  sewing machine.  Maybe because mine isn’t the fancy one hehehehe…just a basic model. What a lame excuse, huh?

Secondly the anxiety to know it’s arrival. Lastly, I have accumulated quite a handsome number of mailarts already. Just waiting a couple more making it’s way to me.

Zalita called me earlier today that she recieved her mailart.  Thus here is my mailart for  Zalita who also recently was a 3rd prize winner in a mailart competition organised by Daisy Stitches

Design of My Own

It’s something that I actually designed quite some time ago but never really got it stitch up.  Eventually I came across Judy Odell’s  Tuffet Contest and I thought  it was a good opportunity to have it stitched and finished as a pincushion. So here it is done on 32ct Lambswool with DMC.

One of the rules was to have at least 15 entrants. Came Aug 31st, there were only 13 of us. Thus it was only fun share of tuffets finished. However Judy was gracious enough that each entrants will be recieving a JAT stitch design chart and finishing instruction chart for the Designing Ladies 2007 project that will be released around Nov or Dec 2007.

I got a package!

A package from Cathymk brought me a Quaker ABC exchange. Cathy made me a stitcher’s bourse. It was her first attempt but it’s extremely perfect! I love the sewing notion  print, the heart shell button, the silk ribbons and the Workbasket September Quaker….fits me as I’m the September girl!  Yay!

Cathy graciously included some wonderful goodies of which I will make a good use each of them :)
