My very first attempt in finishing up as a mattress pincushion so here is one of The Drawn Thread freebies : The Caron Keeper but I made changes in colours. I studied and followed Marie’s Mattress Pincushion step by step tutorial. I love the way she insert the ribbon along the hemstitched sides. Looks so elegant. However instead of using a batting , I used polypellets as the filler.
