I actually completed stitching this lovely Quaker Four Corners Sampler by The Goode Huswife design quite sometime ago also I ran out if OWS English Quaker Rose as I stitched this design on 28ct linen. When I got another skein of the thread, there was a slight difference in the shade. I had one corner bottom left slightly darker than the rest.
When I saw KarenV post on her pincushion finishing, perhaps I should try to have this one finished just like hers. As pretty and neat as KarenV’s maybe? 
But actually I want to do this as a sewing pocket. It’s just too big for a pinkeep.
